Enovation successfully certified as a Mitz Connector supplier

The Enovation Mitz Connector was successfully certified for Mitz, the Dutch national consent facility. This demonstrates that the Enovation solution excellently meets all the Mitz requirements, both technically and functionally, as well as at the process level. The Enovation Mitz Connector is available as of today to connect healthcare providers with the relevant source and exchange systems to the Mitz consent facility.

Generic Mitz Connector within the Enovation Platform

The Enovation Mitz connector is generically designed to be used for current and future health data exchanges between professionals. Especially in those situations where explicit patient consent is a requirement for the exchange. The Enovation platform provides broad support in the areas of national data availability, information exchange and network care. Also in the light of regional (IZA) and national (Wegiz) initiatives in which Enovation actively participates. There are many interfaces here with our solutions for XDS, FHIR, LSP exchange and system integration (such as Cloverleaf), where the Mitz Connector will play an increasingly important role. The connection to Mitz for our lspConnect solution has been running for some time via the exchange with the National Exchange Point. In addition to healthcare organisations, Enovation can use the Mitz Connector to support source system suppliers in connecting to Mitz.

What does the Enovation Mitz connector offer?

  • Connecting the source systems and exchange systems within your organisation to Mitz;
  • Mitz questioning when exchanging data with other healthcare organisations;
  • Subscribing patients to Mitz from relevant source systems;
  • Migrating existing consents (development ongoing);
  • Supporting and managing processes around Mitz.

What is Mitz?

Mitz is the national consent facility for recording, viewing and verifying consents for the purpose of exchanging medical data. Currently, many of these consents are still recorded within the systems of healthcare organisations. This often results in non-uniform registration, problems in the exchange and no insight for patients as to who has requested their data. Mitz plays an important role in unifying patient consent, would you like to know more about Mitz? See www.mitz-toestemming.nl
