More and more hospitals are using an IHE XDS-I infrastructure to exchange imaging studies. Agfa HealthCare Netherlands will start using xdsConnect in order to support a direct link for the current XERO Viewer & image management system to IHE XDS-I infrastructures.Agfa HealthCare Netherlands and VANAD Enovation today announced that they have signed a partnership agreement involving a number of xdsConnect implementations in the Netherlands. Agfa HealthCare Netherlands selected VANAD Enovation for its innovative strengths, flexibility and experience with IHE XDS-I infrastructures.Many medical specialists have to work with an administrative viewer for retrieving imaging studies from an IHE XDS-I infrastructure. They then first need to perform multiple operations before they can view imaging studies in their own diagnostic viewer with the correct image quality.Innovative solutionHaving identified this need for a more streamlined solution, Agfa HealthCare offers its clients a solution that allows them to use the XERO viewer to retrieve imaging studies directly from multiple (regional) IHE XDS-I infrastructures.
