Bertine Uithoven joins the Enovation board as new CTO

Enovation is proud to welcome a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As of 1 October 2025, Bertine Uithoven has joined the Enovation board in the role of CTO.

Experience and Expertise

Bertine brings extensive experience and deep expertise in secure email and structured data exchange (Enovation Secure Email). She is a familiar face within the organisation, having led product and development teams as Product Manager and later as Portfolio Lead. Her contributions have been key to the development of the national secure messaging service and system integration.

Vision and Insight

With her in-depth knowledge of digital healthcare solutions and her active role in national working groups on secure communication in healthcare and the public sector, she has a strong grasp of both market dynamics and Enovation’s internal landscape. This provides a solid foundation for her new role as CTO, where technology, vision, and leadership converge.

At Enovation, the CTO plays a key role in strategically leveraging technology to develop secure and future-proof digital solutions within and beyond the healthcare sector.

Update Board Positions

Bertine succeeds Dré Lameir, who will focus on security policy and strategy in the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Recently, the Enovation board was expanded with the addition of a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Jelle Wilders has taken on this role.
