Marcel van der Velden becomes CEO Enovation Group
Marcel van der Velden becomes the new CEO of Enovation Group starting 1 October 2024. Van der Velden was CCO the past 6 years and is taking over from Jeroen van Rijswijk, who was CEO for 11 years. Van Rijswijk will remain involved in Enovation’s management as a consultant for the time being.

Van der Velden, who has been active in Enovation commercial roles for over 23 years, states: ‘It’s great to add a new chapter to Enovation’s impressive story with this role. We have grown rapidly in recent years and have developed into a leading European organisation supporting healthcare with our unique platform for digital healthcare and collaboration. I also look forward to continuing this fantastic journey as part of Legrand together with our colleagues, customers and partners.’
Van Rijswijk, the departing CEO, who has worked for the company for 34 years, states: ‘For me, the time has come to pass the baton to a new generation. I am proud of what we have all achieved together and it has been an honour to be CEO of such a wonderful company.’
Strengthened and enhanced
Van Rijswijk steered Enovation as CEO helping add companies that have strengthened and enhanced the Enovation Platform. As a result, a broad portfolio of solutions is available making the daily work of healthcare professionals easier and more efficient. Enovation aims to ensure healthcare is able to meet the challenges it faces today and in the future. Those challenges are threefold: people are getting older and need more care, the financing of care is increasingly under pressure and, at the same time, the number of care workers is decreasing.
In recent years, Enovation (part of Legrand Care) has successfully achieved a leading position in healthcare with its platform for digital healthcare and collaboration, making it one of the few software suppliers covering a broad spectrum of the healthcare ecosystem in Northwest Europe.
