Measure, Understand and Improve: PROMs for Effective Care
PROMs offer a complete solution to measure the effectiveness of treatments and the patient experience and then optimise it where possible. The tool is designed for healthcare organisations working according to Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) and conducting scientific research. Healthcare professionals can easily deploy validated questionnaires, collect data via email and Patient Journey, and visualise them in reports.
The collected data is used to monitor patients, identify trends and optimise care processes. Integrations with EPRs and data warehouses allow outcomes to be enriched and shared with national registries. The PROMs environment is delivered in the healthcare organisation’s corporate style. The Orthopaedics Department at Anna Ziekenhuis started working with OnlinePROMS in 2014. They now measure PROMs in eight different specialties within the hospital. The first PREMs have also started, including submission to Zorgkaart.

API functionalities
PROMs offers an API that enables external systems to manage large parts of PROMs.
Web viewer
PROMs has a web viewer that allows collected patient data to be displayed directly in the EPR.
Here, in addition to viewing all the data, you can perform various actions such as adjusting patient data and handling signals.
Integration with EPR based on HL7 messages
It is possible to control various PROMs functionalities from the EPR. Examples include automatic inclusion of patients based on appointment codes, updating patient data, receiving results back via PDF or raw data.
