Gelre Ziekenhuis equipped with a website, patient portal and mobile app

For Gelre Ziekenhuizen, Funatic realised a brand-new website with an integrated secure patient portal and a mobile app for patients. 

The new, modern digital platform forms the basis for all digital interaction and offers the patients insight into their personal health record, which is available anytime and anywhere. Gelre Ziekenhuizen can digitise many processes and, at the same time, increase its accessibility by providing patients and their relatives the right information, also outside office hours. ‘Mijn Gelre’ is the hospital’s ‘digital reception hall’. 

The public website is fully dedicated to providing visitors with the most important information, such as appointments, directions and parking, job vacancies, blood tests, visiting times and information on waiting times. A smart search function helps visitors quickly find the right information about health conditions, tests and treatments and the healthcare team.

After users securely log in with their DigiD (Dutch secure digital ID system), the website is personalised and provides access to the patient portal. Patients of Gelre Ziekenhuizen have access to a number of self-service functions and receive customised information so they know what to expect. Measurements, letters, treatment reports and results are available in a standardised format. The complete file is available for download and can be shared. This helps patients to better prepare for a doctor’s appointment. Afterwards, they can review test results and treatment reports at their leisure

The Mijn Gelre mobile app makes it even easier to access all information and find your way around the hospital.

The Mijn Gelre patient portal has recently been linked to HiX and will be further expanded in the coming period, through our ongoing innovation programme.
