‘Preparing for Your Admission’ added to Groene Hart Ziekenhuis patient portal

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if a patient no longer needed to visit the hospital for some aspects of hospital treatment? For example, to fill in a form or receive information, which can easily be done online now. That is why the Groene Hart Ziekenhuis has added the eZorgpad Uw Opname Voorbereiden (Preparing for Your Admission eHealthcare pathway) to its patient portal and mobile app.

The implementation of this eHealthcare pathway in the patient portal and mobile app is a huge step towards digitalisation, representing an improvement for both patients and healthcare staff. Patients can now prepare for hospital admission or complete admission screening at their leisure. Healthcare staff save time that they can spend on other activities.

The MijnGHZ patient portal and Enovation Funatic’s mobile app support patients in the healthcare process by providing information and sending (push) notifications when they need to complete questionnaires at the appropriate time in the process. These questionnaires can be completed in the patient portal, as an integral part of the presented healthcare pathway. In collaboration with NEXUS Nederland, Enovation offers an integrated eHealthcare pathway solution; monitoring of the healthcare pathway process and data storage take place entirely in the source system (EPD), while the presentation and interaction happen in the patient portal and mobile app. The Groene Hart Ziekenhuis is working hard to offer more online care and will therefore be implementing many more eHealthcare pathways in the coming years.
